The HIV-Swiss-Social Research website provides information on social science research on HIV/AIDS at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, School of Social Work.
One focus is on the life-situations of individuals living with HIV. Another one also explores the conditions and contexts that can help prevent HIV infection. Thus, our work provides an empirically sound basis for HIV prevention practices and promotes the social participation of individuals affected by HIV. We focus on application-oriented research and development, which should have practical effects.
